This week President Mugabe awarded himself a 600% pay rise and now earns two million dollars a month. That’s pretty sad when a Labour Official told me this week that the minimum wage for a house worker in Zimbabwe is still just three thousand four hundred and fifty seven dollars a month (that is less than five British pence a day).
Cathy Buckle with more news from Zim. This is just insane!! Zimbabwe is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen, with some of the friendliest people I have ever come across. I hate sitting back and accepting what is happening there at the moment, but dont really know how to help.
