Oh my God this is INSANELY sexy……………… Why have I never heard this before? Jack’s unbelievably dirty, grinding, raunchy guitar solo at the beginning drives me wild!!! The Blues just pulses and breathes through him. Meg looks freaking hot as always slicing away at the cymbals like the tease she is. The bass in this live performance is luscious. Mmmhmm. Enjoy!
This one’s for you Joseph…
Don’t act like you can’t act
Stand up like a man
You better learn to shake hands
Treat me like your mother
Come on look me in the eye
You wanna try to tell a lie
I’ll bet you can’t and you know why?
I’m just like your mother
Ohhhkay… so this is why I NEVER left the house or even moved a muscle when armed response were patrolling my property. Half of me wanted the intruder caught so he’d never come back, the other half was really scared for him and hoped he’d get away…
Thanks Ken!
Malcolm X appears on a television show in Chicago called “City Desk” on March 17, 1963…
MALCOLM X: OUR HISTORY WAS DESTROYED BY SLAVERY
Oh Frank, how do I love thee? How do I begin to count the ways!!! more…
A spontaneous jam session happens around the firepit for hours outside the Starlight Theater, Terlingua TX in the middle of the night. Jim Keaveny (guitar and harmonica), his girlfriend Anna on the fiddle, my friend Frank (Cuatro), Shand Walton (guitar), my travel buddy Brett squeezed in between and the rest of the locals around. I’ll never forget this night.

International Human Rights day marks the anniversary of the United Nation’s historic ‘Universal Declaration Of Human Rights’ on 10 December 1948. The UDHR set out for the first time in a single document the fundamental rights to which everyone, everywhere is entitled – including the right to life, liberty, security, the freedoms of opinion, association and expression, and the right not to be subjected to torture or cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment.
Thanks Quiddity!

Ooooh I LOVE this! Carl is so much fun. I’ve always loved the way he describes these almost intangible things in such simple and fun ways, as it should be. Overcomplicating things always obscures the true essence. He is so interesting and amazing I could just lick his brainstem. Only in the 4th dimension of course. I’m not a total *hussy* in this dimension. And he’s no longer with us… here that is.
There once was a King who lived in a beautiful gigantic sand castle, designed and created by huge sandy hands. There he lived with his lifelong awaited Queen, who had tangly seaweed for hair and tiny seashells for breasts… they had crabs that were hired as court jesters, noble steeds and served as the occasional banquet. Each season a new castle would be built, bigger and better than the ones before, more elaborate and ornate, with stables and dungeons. News of these castles travelled far and wide and parties surrounded them. There was word that the most magnificent and tallest castle yet had been built, perhaps too close to the ocean, but the King and Queen would hear none of it. The moonlight bouncing off the water made the sandy walls glint in all the colours of the night, just the way they liked it.
One day while the King was out on a quest on his favourite steed, a giant wave that had built up from just a tiny ripple across the other end of the ocean months previously came to its crashing destiny, and washed everything away.
… the King hearing news of this tragedy never returned to the land of their famous castles. He is nowhere to be found and wants to be found nowhere. No longer a King he lives each day with promised uncertainty, looking for his Queen, but knowing she was washed away.
A giant girlperson with sandy hands found the two little shells lying in the soggy foundations, painted them and kept them in her jewellery box. Sometimes, when she holds them to her ears, she can still hear the Queen, playing in her ocean.
I love these kids and their shiny beautiful hearts :@)
