Bring back the feeling - create a Muxtape!
And listen to other’s. Its a glorious mixed bag of musical goodness! I love the idea behind this site and the simple way it works. You can easily share music with friends or your blog readers if that’s your thing. I simply prefer being immersed in a lot of old and new sounds I haven’t heard of yet. A great way to shake out of a stagnating music habit.
Yesterday I was all about the acoustic and live mixtapes. Right now I’m mostly listening to AcidInjection’s muxtape so I can keep sharply focussed on a tricky project I’m working on.
Please post your favourite findings in the comments and the ones you’ve made so we can all enjoy!

That’s so nifty!
I was reading about this the other day and was sitting on some type of metaphoric fence…mostly because they were kind of ripping on the idea of it being hard to make a mix tape back in the day, and how you’d have to actually sit there and listen to the music and manually make it and all…
I think that’s the biggest thing I miss about really getting into music, when mix tapes were the original file sharing and you pretty much made them for particular people……

Yes definitely! Receiving a mixtape that was made just for me was one of the funnest parts of being a teen.
Creating them was a lot like writing a letter over a week. I remember once sending a mixtape to a penfriend in Kenya where the letter was included in the audio at the beginning. I just rambled on about whatever came to mind. I was probably 14, maybe younger. It would be hilarious to hear that now.
