I found this Lynx-enhanced site while looking for pictures of beards. These days it’s not easy to find quality stuff like this online. Here are a few good reasons why you shouldn’t put photo galleries of yourself online, or allow complete strangers to peek into your brain. All kinds of weird people could be reading it.

I know this game has been out for centuries but I only just got my hands on a friends copy of Black & White. (Yup, thats where Ive dissappared to the last few days – sorry!) It’s totally addictive. I haven’t slept properly for two days and when I do, I dream about my creature licking the villagers until they squeak and watering the houses with the water miracle. I want to take loads of leave and play it for 10 days straight! So I decided to buy it.
While I had the credit card out I also bought Jane Birkin – “Arabesque” (her concert will soon be added to our Brighton Festival reviews) and Peter Gabriel – “Us”
.
It was only a matter of time before Japan would bring out its own t.A.T.u clones – Suitei Shoujo (Presumed Girls) and Juemilia.

English soccer captain David Beckham’s dream came true today when he met Nelson Mandela. “It’s great to be here today. It an amazing honour for all of us,” said beaming Beckham.
He was sporting an African hairstyle known as “cornrows”. One journalist could not resist the urge to ask Mandela what he thought of Beckham’s latest foray into hair fashion. The aging statesman replied: “I’m too old to express an opinion on this development.”
Tip of the day: To tell if you have bad breath
Lick your wrist
Wait ten seconds for it to dry
Sniff your wrist
Disclaimer: Doesn’t work if your wrists normally smell bad, or if your breath smells very strongly of wrist.
(Pieter found this on Lagrange 3. I think he was looking for pics of sleepy snails again.)
From unusual names to kicking in Micra’s. Brighton’s bizarre news for the week..

Half-socks are those socks youve never seen before until now. If you wear clogs and slip ons daily but want to keep them in top nick, then you need half-socks. I couldn’t find them anywhere in the UK and the only website I know of that sells them is Fetishize~Me. They are really cheap, soft on your tootsies and very cute. Mine arrived in the post today and Im thrilled to bits with them. Fetishize~Me socks are the yummiest!

Went to see Pieter-Dirk Uys speak about Foreign Aids at the Theatre Royal in Brighton last night. He was dazzling to watch, and brilliantly witty and funny. You may know him as Evita Bezuidenhout – the most famous woman in South Africa.
For the last few years of his life, this man, without state funding and absolutely no corporate funding, goes around to every school in South Africa that invites him to talk to the kids and young adults about the seriousness of the AIDS pandemic in South Africa. He has visited every school imaginable, from Bishops High to schools with a cow and a tree for shelter. Uys is not very popular with many parents and teachers who don’t approve of the graphic language, humour and props he uses to get his message across to kids, some as young as 6. But the reality in South Africa is that kids are using graphic language when they talk to their friends about sex; showing them how to put a condom correctly on a banana is not as relevant as using a dildo, and children even younger than 6 in SA are exposed to the deadly threat of AIDS every day of their lives. The youth of SA love him because he is hilariously funny and they can ask him any question under the sun without feeling awkward or bad. Even though the government is trying to shut him up, he is arming South Africa’s children with condoms and knowledge and is saving countless lives. I have the greatest admiration and respect for this man.
An important issue he addressed last night was WHAT is South Africa doing spending R53 BILLION on a dodgy arms deal when we have no enemies? When the only enemy we have, is silent and invisible and more devastating than we have ever known before – the Southern African AIDS pandemic. There are almost 5 MILLION HIV sufferers in SA. Why is that money not being spent on more widespread use of anti-retroviral drugs – helping HIV positive people to stay healthy so they can LIVE WITH AIDS and die with dignity?
Yummy Wakame interviewed the sexy sock mistress from Fetishize~Me – sellers of the worlds finest and best socks. I buy my socks from Fetishize~Me!
