Dee’s Tiny House
This video about the Tiny House Movement really captures so many enticing reasons why I want to build my own tiny home soon. I watch it once in a while to keep me inspired. I hope it inspires you too :)
Dee: “I wanted to build it on wheels because I wanted to be able to take it with me into the future, not knowing what my future was.”
Flaming Soul
There is a Flaming Soul of Passion within each of us.
Nurtured and respected, She will light up your life,
illuminating every dark corner.
Ignored or repressed, She will burn down the walls that imprison her,
leaving nothing but ashes in her wake.
She will always find a way to leave her mark.

Innermost House
Uhhh!! This is SO INSPIRING!
“Innermost house is about 12 feet sqare, there is no electricity, no hot water, and yet my husband and I lead a life of luxury here… You enter timeless time here, and without the distractions of modern life its easy to forget about everything except the moment.”
Seven years ago Diana and Michael Lorence moved to a 12-foot-square home without electricity in the coastal mountains of Northern California.
They’re not back-to-the-land types- they’re not growing their own food, nor raising animals-, but, like Thoreau, they were looking for a place where they could get away from the noise of society and focus on their inner lives.
For nearly 30 years they have lived in tiny houses, often in guest homes, though their current abode is the smallest and most fitting their needs. It was designed by Michael based on their experiences living in nearly 20 tiny homes across the country before finally settling here.
“Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

No New Years Resolution..
… as usual. Dont really believe in setting myself up for faliure. However, this year I’d really like to (not have to) find and decide on the land and the country where I’m going to build my home and start a rooted life, even if I am going to do it alone. Then, like the ocean I will remain calmly where I live and wait while the rivers run to me, because thats how it works. No more running around like I have been the past… uh… 8 years now. Something like that. (more…)
Romantic Love
“Romantic love, in pornography as in life, is the mythic celebration of female negation. For a woman, love is defined as her willingness to submit to her own annihilation. The proof of love is that she is willing to be destroyed by the one whom she loves, for his sake. For the woman, love is always self-sacrifice, the sacrifice of identity, will, and bodily integrity, in order to fulfill and redeem the masculinity of her lover.”

By The Power of Plant Medicine and Cat Medicine…
… and Wordless Music Medicine and Food Medicine combined…
Reality is not fixed if beliefs aren’t fixed. If we stay open to all possibility, then reality becomes a receiver and manifester of the imagination, which then allows reality to reflect our deepest hopes and dreams…
Dragonfly Medicine
One of the most magical sights on a summer day or early evening is that of the dragonfly. With its shimmering wings and delicate form it seems a creature from the land of Faerie, and it is a power animal which can help to put us in touch with nature spirits. (more…)
Help Save Japan’s Dolphins!
More than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises are being slaughtered each year and their meat, containing toxic levels of mercury, is being sold as food in Japan, often times labeled as whale meat. Send a letter to President Obama, Vice President Biden and Japanese Ambassador to the United States Ichiro Fujisaki urging them to address this issue »
