Monster Munch
Bright colours and fine taste in hand-drawn lines always grabs my attention. And holds it. Great bio too, Mr Monster. I feel exactly the same way.
Home, I’m coming home!

Goodbye My Lady Dutchess
Here is the last photo of my little old home as home, scrubbed and cleaned, ready for storage. She looks so different without her colourful throws, pillows, sparkly string lights and travelled treasures all around. All that remains now are my favourite belongings, packed in these boxes, some that have survived culls from my previous homes in South Africa to England to here, ready to be shipped anywhere. The sparkly cheer up shoes I bought months ago that bravely ushered me through the transition through airports, on beaches and even hiking trails are to be retired, along with this phase of my old life. I'm finally ready to say goodbye to Marathon and hello to the exciting, uncertain future.
My Daily Sri Swami Satchidananda Snack
Every day he writes something that is absolutely bang on with what I need most that day. His existence is a blessing.
Even if you achieve the whole world by your selfishness, you are not going to be happy. You cannot be. Selfishness can never make you happy. Sometimes you may get what you want, but your own selfishness will spoil it. In a way, that is what we learn from all these disappointments in life. Every time you approach a thing or a person or an action with a selfish motive, it literally hits you on the head. Unfortunately many people don't learn from a single hit or even a hundred hits. On the other hand, sensible people will learn the lesson just by seeing others getting hit.
Don't ever think that you will escape. You are going to learn the lesson. Until you learn the lesson this will happen again and again and again. Mother Nature is there with a big stick to whack you, "Come on, learn this, learn this." Finally you will say, "Ohh, I am learning, I am learning."
You should remember it is Mother Nature's hand behind all these disappointments. So it is better to learn soon - the sooner, the better - so that you can enjoy the rest of your life with all joy and peace.
Om Shanthi, Shanthi, Shanthi

Just for now
Just for Now, without asking how, let yourself sink into stillness. Just for now, lay down the weight you so patiently bear upon your shoulders. Feel the earth receive you, and the infinite expanse of the sky grow even wider as your awareness reaches up to meet it. Just for now, allow a wave of breath to enliven your experience. Breathe out whatever blocks you from the truth. Just for now, be boundless, free, with awakened energy tingling in your hands and feet. Drink in the possibility of being who and what you really are - so fully alive that the world looks different, newly born and vibrant, just for now.

PNC Wank or rather, Bank of the Best
I've stuck with Pennsylvania's PNC Bank for years because they have a rocking online banking system, iphone app and very intelligent phone support. But sadly our romance has come to an end upon discovery that their love for their customers is a sham, based on a lame computerized system that automatically rules with damnation and fury on all its customers and allows for no human brain to brain interaction of any kind. iRip for iPhone and iPod
What a life-saving app this is! My laptop was stolen about a month back and I lost my whole iTunes library. Who seriously can be bothered to keep burning those backups to DVD?
So for the past month Ive been unable to sync my phone with iTunes because my new iTunes library was empty and I'd made no backup of the original. I loved the audiobooks, ringtones and tracks on my phone so much I considered never syncing again. But today I found iRip which has imported all my files from my iPhone back into iTunes. And I mean ALL! I would hug it if I could I am so happy!!!
iRip is now FREE! So download away.
Other inferior apps are charging around $20 to do a crappier job at it. The Little App Factory - you guys rock!
*** UPDATE ***
Oh, so it does ask me to register half way through, to get all my tracks. Sneaky sneaky! However, I am still glad to pay the $20. The app worked perfectly!
