And The Lights Go Out
A lot of people who are into lyrics like I am listen to music that reminds them of the past, their teenage years… the one that got away. Reminiscing. While I appreciate good lyrics, that angle has never really been my style.
There’s something about Hybrid. I’ve been listening to them for years, and like that strange feeling of someone walking over your grave, the stories in some of their songs in particular always felt like something on the horizon. Their sound has swelled and pulsed in me like the heartbeat to the past decade. I wish there was a word for future deja vu. I get glimpses all the time, and the predictions are never wrong. Often I shut it down when I get a peek into the future because its a real surprise killer. Or its too hard to face. I have often thought we all have this ability deep inside, just some are more finely tuned to it — that connection to all that was and ever will be. Deep down I think you know you already have the answer. You already know. Go with your gut instinct.

Love it Bronny!Weird Karen – Im not sure what happened to your comment on FB but it made it over to Yummy Wakame. Don't block it! Its an amazing gift. I know you would do a much much better job with it because of the amazing, balanced, person you are.

My mother had a type of psychic gift, and I've always been afraid I might have it too. So I have consciously blocked it.I have lived my life to music. Through teen angst & love, heartbreak, joy, sorrow. I love the music and lyrics both. I have a great collection of old songs from my "salad days" and that's all I listen to in the car.
