Salvation Mountain
Austin White is one of my favourite photographers in the whole wide world. His unique perspective of the world enables him to capture moments that are so fleeting and so elusive with colours so bold and evocative its hard to believe you aren’t right there where it’s happening. He’s a fully road-schooled kid of 17 years and is of the Bare Naked Family fame.
This recent video documentary of his visit to Salvation Mountain moved me deeply. I had to share it with you guys:

Thanks! I’m glad you like it. I plan to travel there some day soon. I had really imagined I’d be going there with the Tristan and Nathan for quite a long time now but I’m still definitely going to go there on my own. I have yet to do the west coast properly, still never gone to San Fransisco! So many people have told me I look like I come from there so I have to find out what that’s all about. Soon I will have a vehicle light enough to get over the Rockies.
Had my first driving lesson with Nykki today btw! Rode around for about 2 hours and it felt great :@)
