Someone in our own back yard is selling a "Be a Ninja Kit" - I'm almost afraid to post this in fear that someone might buy the kit before I can get around to it, or worse, use it to assassinate me.
The kit includes:
- An "authentic reproduction of a real ninja boot", which is, as you can tell, hilarious
- Ninja Claws ("not for amateur use")
- Ninja Foot Spikes
- Throwing Stars and Knives, all "Ninja"
Together Aga and I make The World's Most Respected Sims 2 Fan Group. And as one of the founding members I would like to pimp the ultimate Sims 2 resource I've found online to date:
Parsimonious Sims is the ultimate collection of Sims 1 and 2 downloads. Most of the objects and skins are of the highest quality and comparable to the ones that come in expansion packs - the best thing is that everything you desire there is completely free!
I mean, this *could* really happen to just about anybody... ya know?

This is the most incredible amateur wildlife footage I've ever seen! A battle between a pride of lions, a herd of buffalo, and 2 crocodiles at a watering hole. It just gets crazier the further you watch.
A new initiative involving sixteen of the world largest cities and five of the world's largest banks aims to save massive amounts of energy. Companies involved also aim to make money out of the project.
How will the savings be made? And does the project really make business sense?
Blackle is a way to combine Google's wonderful search algorithm with some good ol' environmental responsibility. Based on the idea that a black background uses less energy than a white background, they've essentially created the black version of Google.
According to Blackle's website, "Black Google Would Save 750 Megawatt-hours a Year" due to the search engine's popularity. That sounds like a lot of Megawatts, doesn't it?
Some more great tips from the UPCI's Healthy Choices Healthy Lives magazine:
- Thoroughly clean pet beds and resting areas both indoors and outdoors in hot soapy water
- Thoroughly and regularly vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and crevices around corners to remove flea eggs and larvae
- Place vacuum bags in a sealed bag and throw out since flea eggs and larvae can survive inside the bags
- Use a special comb to remove fleas from your pet and comb on regular intervals to reduce occurrence of fleas
- Spray your pet daily with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water
- Use an enzyme shampoo on your pet
- Mix brewer's yeast, or vitamin B or garlic tablets in with pet food.
- Rub animal's coat with fennel, rue, and rosemary
- Place eucalyptus seeds and leaves where the animal sleeps
*As a last resort and after consulting with a veterinarian, use topical liquid spot treatment
