Free overseas phone calls from the US
Future Phone offers US and Canadian citizens free international phone calls to over 50 countries. You only pay to dial the local access number in Iowa from your cellphone or landline, but these days most people get free local minutes anyway. Theres no fee, no signup or contracts and unlimited calls anywhere anytime. I wonder how they can offer this for free? I can’t wait to test this out tomorrow.
Thanks Julie!
Oh and that great pic is a Sarah Pulver original. I love love LOVE her art!

I found this alternative – Jazango also has a free gateway access number: 218-339-1986. It’s apparently the only one that works for now.

Nooooo! I tried using it today to make my usual UK calls and “We’re sorry, this service has been disconnected.”
Why? WHY?!!!! Who would do such a terrible thing to me?

You did not invent the left turn. I did. Right after I invented the wheel. Until then, everyone turned right.
I’m thrilled to death with this. You know who I want to call! Can’t wait. Of course, she has to send me her phone #. She may not want me calling her up!

This works incredibly well. I had doubts about the quality when I saw they only have 1 access number and wondered how many people they carry on that number. But I just had a half hour conversation to the UK and it was perfect quality. No lags or anything.

Hmmmm…suspiciously surprisingly wonderful. Eventually everything will be free and our ancestors will say to eachother “I can’t imagine living in a society based on money…”
Perhaps fame and recognition will replace money. If you invent something great that anyone can have for free, then everyone likes you.
Like when I invented the left turn.
