"Riding on a plane to go somewhere does not qualify as being an adventure. The minute you get on a plane to go somewhere, it is automatically a vacation. And the difference between vacation and an adventure, and the difference between a tourist and a traveller is an airplane. It leaves you so dead and lagged because you're traversing the world in timespans you should not be...
A tourist is going to get the once over view of a place, to see the Eiffel Towers and Big Bens of a land, all the while eating at McDonalds and staying at the Hilton. A traveller is there to inspect the nuances of life. To me, when I'm going places, it isn't to see the place, it's to feel the experience, to talk with the people and to smell the air." ~ ClickNathan

And remember people... Safety First
A range of bizarre accidents including melting pyjamas and an alligator attack landed almost one million Britons in hospital last year, according to figures by the Department of Health. Volcanic eruptions, lightning strikes, rat bites and centipede stings caused some of the more unusual injuries. Some included four victims of exposure to noise, four of vibration and 40 from contact with a high-pressure jet. The most common cause of injury was falling, which resulted in 119,203 Accident and Emergency admissions. Accidents cost the National Health Service an estimated £1bn a year.
