Madonna has changed her name to Esther as part of her conversion to Kabbalah, the study of Jewish mysticism. In an interview to be broadcast in the US on Friday, she said that she wanted to be known by the Hebrew name Esther.

Kabbalah is “incredibly punk rock and anti-establishment. Kabbalists believe in immortality. They believe that you can overcome death, overcome illness, whatever, so, it’s incredibly good to be a rebel.” ~ Madonna

Yup. In-credible is a good way to describe it.

‘Housemates are supposed to look after the House and its furnishings, but last night the usually placid Vanessa attacked Diandra with a fury not seen since Ahmed went on his plate smashing spree.

For some unknown reason Vanessa stamped on the statue’s head and shouted “Bitch!” and “Stupid woman,” while Michelle and Emma were fuming, watching from the secret Bedsit next door. “She’s a symbol,” they cried. “Stupid, stupid, stupid.”

Having ripped off an arm, Vanessa set about beating Diandra’s body with her own limb before giving her a further kicking and dumping the remains. Unsurprisingly Big Brother took a dim view of Vanessa’s hooliganism and today told her to put Diandra back together again. When she emerged from the Diary Room, Vanessa claimed to be surprised. “I thought smashing her was fun,” she said cheerily.

But Bunny Boiler Michelle didn’t see it that way. “I think smashing you would be fun, girl,” she thundered from her Bedsit hidey-hole.’
